Watch NY High School Lacrosse Regionals Live

The New York high school lacrosse regionals are underway this week. Boys and girls teams from across the state are competing in the regional semifinals on Wednesday, June 4. Winners from these games will advance to the regional finals, which are also the state quarterfinals, on Saturday, June 8.

Two teams from Section III will take the field on Wednesday. The West Genesee boys team and the Cicero-North Syracuse girls team are both set to play. Other Section III teams received a bye and will begin competing later.

Fans can watch the games in person or through live stream options. Tickets are available online, and most schools are using digital ticketing systems for entry.

The boys’ schedule includes several key matchups. In Class A, West Genesee plays Plattsburgh at Fayetteville-Manlius High School at 5 p.m. Later that evening, Half Hollow Hills will face Massapequa at Hofstra University at 7 p.m. In Class B, Garden City will play at East Islip Middle School, also at 7 p.m.

Class C has two games. Kings Park faces Wantagh at 4:30 p.m. at Hofstra University. Hamburg meets Honeoye Falls-Lima at Canandaigua Academy at 5:30 p.m. For Class D, Cold Spring Harbor goes up against Center Moriches at East Islip Middle School at 4:30 p.m. Akron plays Penn Yan Academy at Canandaigua Academy at 7:30 p.m.

On the girls’ side, one game is scheduled for Wednesday. Plattsburgh visits Cicero-North Syracuse for a 5 p.m. game. More girls’ games take place on Thursday, June 5. Penn Yan Academy will take on Eden in Class D at Williamsville South High School at 5 p.m. Honeoye Falls-Lima plays Lake Shore at the same location at 7:30 p.m. in Class C.

Some games have already been played. On Tuesday, June 3, Huntington beat Massapequa 12-8 in a Class A boys matchup. Garden City defeated Smithtown West 9-6 in Class B. In Class C, Bayport-Blue Point earned a 10-6 win over South Side.

All games are streamed online through school websites or broadcasting partners. Fans can also check the NYSPHSAA website for official links, tickets, and bracket updates. If you’re planning to attend, it’s best to buy tickets early to avoid delays at the gate.

The regional finals will take place on Saturday, June 8. Winning teams from this week will move on to those games. It’s a big moment for high school athletes across New York, many of whom are hoping to advance to the state championship.

Lacrosse continues to grow in popularity in New York State. The mix of schools from Long Island, Upstate, and Western New York shows just how widespread the sport has become. Many teams are returning to the regional stage, while others are making their first appearances.

This year’s tournament is expected to be highly competitive. Teams are more evenly matched than in previous years. Many of the games have been close, with final scores separated by only a few goals.
