Israel Increases Gaza Bombings and Forced Displacement Amid Trump’s Middle East Visit

Israeli forces have stepped up airstrikes in Gaza while forcing thousands to leave their homes. These actions occurred as US President Donald Trump toured the Middle East. In a single day, Israeli attacks killed at least 80 people and struck two hospitals, worsening the humanitarian crisis.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised a full military operation in Gaza, saying his government would not stop the war. Plans were announced to move civilians out of Gaza, increasing fears of mass displacement.

President Trump, although skipping Israel on his trip, showed support for Israel’s interests through closer ties with Saudi Arabia and Gulf countries. The White House described Trump as Israel’s strongest friend in history.

Two hospitals were hit on Tuesday. A strike on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis killed Palestinian journalist Hassan Aslih and two patients. Another attack on the European Hospital courtyard killed 28 and injured 60. Since the war began, about 160 journalists have died in Gaza.

A United Nations report found that Israel targets hospitals to destroy Gaza’s healthcare system. On Wednesday, 80 more people were killed in bombings. Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza received 50 bodies overnight, including many children and women. Medical staff face shortages of beds, medicine, and surgical tools, making it hard to treat the injured.

Human rights groups say these attacks aim to slowly destroy Gaza by depriving people of food, water, medical care, and shelter. The United Nations called Israel’s actions deliberate and inhumane, accusing Israel of using starvation as a weapon and prioritizing depopulating Gaza over saving civilian lives.

Since March 2, Gaza has had no food, water, or electricity after Israel ended a ceasefire. All UN bakeries and most community kitchens have shut down. Israel issued final evacuation orders for large parts of Gaza, displacing 20 percent of the population and forcing 70 percent under evacuation warnings.

The United Nations warned that all Gaza residents face a critical risk of famine, with half a million people possibly starving. A US-backed organization called the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation will start distributing food this month under Israeli military supervision, with US security contractors guarding distribution points.

The plan to militarize aid distribution has drawn strong criticism from humanitarian groups. They say it will not stop forced displacement or hunger and only increases control over Gaza while reducing aid access.

Palestinian groups warn that this strategy aims to push Gazans from northern to southern areas and destroy the existing humanitarian system. They view it as part of Israel’s broader plan to empty Gaza.

The ongoing bombings, forced displacements, and blockade have created a severe humanitarian crisis. Israel’s actions threaten Gaza’s health system, food supplies, and civilian survival. VK News will keep updating this story as events unfold.
